On May 8, 2015 the CWECT of Waterloo-Wellington hosted the third annual provincial symposium and brought together CWECT Teams and community partners from across the province to discuss means to better support crown ward youth.  We explored things that helped to create success across three areas:  Secondary/post-secondary education, trades and apprenticeships, and employment  The morning session provided an opportunity for participants to hear from two key note presenters who discussed their personal life journeys and shared strategies and insights to support service providers who engage and work with youth.  Building upon the information shared during the morning, the afternoon entailed a panel presentation of current and former Crown Wards followed by facilitated group discussions.
